Want to Start streaming but running into many issues. I have streamlabs downloaded on my laptop, I would like to get my overlays and webcam that I have on my streamlabs over to my mixer account. I have done the streaming through the xbox app and captured it on stream labs but on my mixer account it only shows the gameplay no overlays or webcam. Hey there!
I just wanted to clarify something for you.
In order to use Streamlabs OBS and have themes/overlays you will need to stream to a PC. The purpose of a capture card is to capture what your console is outputting and transfer it to your PC, so that you can use Streamlabs OBS and have everything you want.
When using the in console Mixer app, it's a direct from Console to Mixer stream. You would not be able to get overlays that way.
For what you are trying to do I would recommend purchasing a capture card, then setting it up and using your Laptop to stream.
